The city of Alicante has strengthened its maritime connectivity with North Africa through a new ferry route linking Alicante with Algiers. This connection, managed by Algeria’s first private ferry company, offers new alternatives for both travelers and freight transport.

The Vessel Assigned to the Route

The ferry operating this route is the Cracovia, a state-of-the-art vessel designed specifically for medium and long-distance travel. The Cracovia can transport up to 658 passengers and has 2,200 linear meters for vehicles — the equivalent of around 140 trailer trucks and 90 cars. Additionally, the ship features modern amenities that ensure a comfortable journey, such as rest areas, cafés, and entertainment services.
