On February 25, 2025, the Adolfo Suárez State Public Library in Ceuta hosted the Demo Day, an event organized by the Ceuta Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. This gathering brought together 12 startups selected in Phase II of the Impulsa Startups program, providing them with the opportunity to present their projects to investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.

What is the Impulsa Startups program?

The Impulsa Startups program is an initiative designed to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in Ceuta. Through this program, entrepreneurs receive:

Personalized mentorship: Each startup benefits from the support of tutors from the Chamber of Commerce and specialized mentors who guide the scaling process of their projects, addressing key business areas.

Training sessions: Workshops and training sessions are provided on various topics, from business development to presentation skills, aiming to strengthen the entrepreneurs' competencies.

Networking: Participants have the opportunity to connect with other entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals, expanding their network and exploring potential collaborations.

The program culminates in the Demo Day, where startups present their projects before a jury and an audience of potential investors and strategic partners.

Demo Day Details

During the Demo Day, the 12 selected startups showcased their initiatives, highlighting the innovation and potential of their proposals. The event was attended by key figures from the entrepreneurial ecosystem, as well as representatives from institutions and companies interested in supporting local talent.

The president of the Ceuta Chamber of Commerce, Karim Bulaix, emphasized the importance of such events in boosting the local economy and providing startups with a platform to gain visibility and attract investment. He also highlighted the support of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, which will promote the event nationwide through its network of chambers.

Kikoto was one of the companies selected to participate in this prestigious event. Our CEO, Rafael Bentolilla, had the honor of representing the company and presenting our project to investors and industry experts.

During his presentation, Rafael Bentolilla explained how Kikoto is revolutionizing the way ferry tickets are purchased, offering a fast, intuitive platform focused on user experience. He highlighted the company's growth, market acceptance, and expansion plans. He also emphasized the importance of the digital ecosystem in optimizing the ticket purchase and booking process, ensuring an efficient and accessible service for all users.
