TUI Palma Marathon 2026: Guide to Taking Part and How to Get There by Ferry

The next edition will take place on Sunday, 18 October 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, with the start and finish in the Parc de la Mar area, opposite the Cathedral. The event offers three distances: marathon, half marathon and 10K.

1. When is the TUI Palma Marathon 2026?

The TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca 2026 will take place on Sunday, 18 October 2026.

The starts are scheduled as follows:

• 10K: 8:00 am.
• Half Marathon: 8:05 am.
• Marathon: 8:05 am.

The start takes place in the Parc de la Mar area, opposite Palma Cathedral.

The finish line will close at 2:15 pm. For the marathon and half marathon, there is also a checkpoint at kilometre 32: runners who have not passed it before 12:45 pm will be withdrawn from the race.

2. What distances does the TUI Palma Marathon offer?

The event allows you to choose between three categories:

Marathon

Runners complete the full 42.195 kilometres.

The race is officially approved and the course is certified by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.

You must be over 18 to take part in the marathon.

Half Marathon

The half marathon covers 21.097 kilometres through the streets of Palma.

It is an interesting option if you want to enjoy the atmosphere of the event without taking on the 42 kilometres of the full race.

There are also official pacers for target times of 1:30, 1:45 and 2:00 hours.

10K

3. Where does the TUI Palma Marathon start and finish?

The event mainly takes place in central Palma, with Parc de la Mar, opposite Mallorca Cathedral, as its main reference point.

5. When do you need to collect your race number?

Race number collection is scheduled for Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

To collect it, you will need to present:

• ID card, passport or another official identification document.
• Proof or confirmation of registration.

The race number must remain visible on the front of the body throughout the race.

The event begins several days before the race.

Saturday 17 October

• 9:30, 10:00 and 10:30 am: Breakfast Run.

Sunday 18 October

• 8:00 am: 10K start.
• 8:05 am: marathon and half marathon start.

• 2:15 pm: finish line closes.

The Breakfast Run is not included in the registration.

7. What does registration include?

Registration includes the race number with the integrated timing chip. There is no need to return the chip after finishing because it is disposable.

In addition, you do not need to have an athletics federation licence: the RFEA one-day licence is included in the registration.

Marathon participants receive a T-shirt according to the organisers' conditions, while half marathon and 10K runners can purchase one during registration. There is also a Marathon Shop at the Expo.

8. Are there pacers at the TUI Palma Marathon?

Yes. If you have a specific target time, official pacers are available for the main distances.

Marathon

• 3:30 h.
• 3:45 h.
• 4:00 h.

Half Marathon

• 1:30 h.
• 1:45 h.
• 2:00 h.

9. Refreshment stations during the race

The organisers provide different refreshment stations along the route.

10. Is there a bag drop?

Yes. The event provides a bag drop service on race day.

The scheduled opening hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The organisers state that only the bag provided during race number collection will be accepted.

11. Are there showers after the race?

No.

However, there is a free massage service in the tents set up in the area after the finish line.

12. Is there a Pasta Party?

Yes. The Pasta Party will take place on Saturday 17 October, between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm, in the event area.

Participants must show the corresponding wristband. Companions can purchase their ticket at the venue.

13. How to get to the TUI Palma Marathon from mainland Spain?

If you live on mainland Spain and want to take part in the race, you have two main options for getting to Mallorca: plane or ferry.
